We don't provide any packaging, so you must bring your own container. If you know the exact weight you need, please select "by weight (g)" and enter the number of grams. Alternatively, you can choose to bring your container and simply "fill it up" or fill it "half full" etc. Since all containers vary in size, if you choose one of these options we'll weigh and price your order when you collect it. Your selection helps us estimate how much to bring with us.

product information
A natural, reusable product to help with washing up. Great for dishes, surfaces or even as a soap dish. The EcoVibe Scrub Pad is a natural pad made from coconut fibre. It’s 100% compostable, plastic-free and biodegradable. It’s made from the coconut hair, bonded with natural latex and reinforced with cotton thread.
The coconuts used for this washing up pad are responsibly sourced from independent farmers which are registered with the Coconut Development Board in India. Coconut fibre is a by-product of coconut production which in most countries is discarded as waste. Using these fibres for our scrub pads helps these coconut farmers earn an additional income. Where are the coconuts scoured from?
The washing up pads are made in Tamil Nadu, India, which is also where the raw materials come from. We try to source from the UK and Europe wherever possible, but as coconuts aren’t native to Europe this will always need to be a compromise.
Do they clear the rainforests to get the coconut material?
The coconuts used for this scrub pad are responsibly sourced from independent farmers, registered with the Coconut Development Board in India. Coconut fibre is a by-product of coconut production which in most countries is discarded as waste, which means the coconuts aren’t grown specifically for our scrub pads. The CDB focuses on smarter growing – using technology to increase production, without having to increase land usage. You can find out more information about from the CDB here – http://coconutboard.nic.in/
How are the coconuts collected?
The coconuts are provided by CDB-monitored farms. Collection methods vary from country to country, but in India where our coconut products are produced, the main two are via tree climbers using special palm-climbing devices or using long-handled scythes to cut down the fruits. We’ve been assured that coconuts for our products are from non-violent and ethical sources.

about the brand
In mid-2018 a group of friends working together in Leeds were talking about how they all felt similarly frustrated by the growing plastic crisis.
They had all been feeling a growing plastic anxiety, and then high-profile documentary Blue Planet came out. They realised that they wanted to be part of the solution, not the problem and needed to start now.
They began looking for ways to reduce our plastic use and cut everyday single-use household plastics out of their lives, but found they struggled to find the right products. Either the plastic-free alternatives we looked for did not exist, or they weren’t truly plastic-free, biodegradable or compostable. With all the lack of choice and misinformation around, they realised that if we found it hard work, other people probably did too.
Luckily in June 2018 they had the opportunity to combine their passion with their creative, marketing and business skills. EcoVibe was born.
EcoVibe is a clear, honest place where people can easily find truly eco-friendly alternatives.
